So glad that we rented a Jeep Rubicon fitted out with a roof tent and camping equipment to spend 2 weeks driving round the sights of Utah. We had a great time, covered 1640 miles and the vehicle made it all possible.The roof tent was really … More easy to erect, undo a couple of clips and it pops up. Stop, pop, sleep that easy.Packing it up just requires pulling it down with a strap, making sure the sides are tucked in and fastening the clips again. Just takes a couple of minutes. The mattress is comfy and the sleeping bag warm enough for near freezing temperatures. Getting in and out of the tent means climbing a sturdy telescopic ladder fitted to the side of the vehicle.The camp kitchen, gas cooker, pots and pans are well thought through and pack neatly into the load space. The fridge is very good, big enough for fresh food and several cans of beerThe Jeep drives well, a bit noisy on paved roads because of the chunky tyres but the upside is you get excellent dirt road performance. The Jeep easily handled everything we attempted - remember to use 4High on dirt roads.We were able to keep all our electronics charged with the USB charging points and occasionally using the onboard power pack.So a great holiday all thanks to UT Overland
